Fuel Surcharge Management
Date of Print: April 18, 2019
Fleet/Logistics Manager Professional provides several methods for defining, managing and automating the application of Fuel Surcharges and Fuel Surcharge Premiums on customer orders and carrier contracts.
Fuel Surcharges can be entered as a Fixed/Flat Rate amount, as a Percentage of Revenue, as a $ per Mile, or as a $ per Kilometer.
Fuel Surcharge Premiums can be defined within Fuel Surcharge Schedules/Methods in order to apply a premium to the regular fuel surcharge rates, if required.
Fuel Surcharges can also be setup as reverse-calculated, meaning instead of adding to the Order total, the Order total remains the same and the fuel surcharge is calculated as a portion of the total.
