Version Prerequisites


3rd Party Application Configuration Requirements


  1. Call Comdata to get the download for the comdata reports program: (Ask for the 384 byte fixed length file)


-This application is downloaded from the iconnectdata.com website, and installed on our customer’s computer.

-To download the Comdata reports program, go to www.comdata.com, there is a link to iConnectData.com at the bottom of the page.

-You’ll need a login for the iConnectData site. Once logged in you click on Account Management Site Map, then in the lower right corner there is a Product Downloads link through which you should be able to navigate to the Comdata Reports download, this allows you to install the Comdata Reports application on your workstation.


        2. Run Comdata Reports from the installed shortcut



        3. Click on the Transfer menu, and choose Files

        4. In the Transfer Files window check ‘All Account/Customer Codes’ and check All Data and Print Files, then click OK

        5. Once processing completes, click the 3rd button at the top of the Comdata Reports application called ‘Extract Data’.

        6. In the Extract window, select either Fuel Card Billing (Canada), or Fuel Card Billing (US), select the customer ID you wish to download fuel for, select your data range, and make sure you check 384 for the record length.



        7. When you click OK in the Extract window, select a location on your workstation or network to save the file, and then proceed to import the file into Fleet Manager.



Fleet Manager Professional Setup

The card numbers are 16 digits long.  However, the first 6 digits are a company code that do not come in the file. Enter the last 10 digits of the card number into Fleet Manager.
