EFS Fuel Import

3rd Party Application Configuration Requirements

 

Carrier must contact EFS and ask to be setup to access their fuel in the supported file format (EFS only has these files available via FTP): 


EFS LLC (TCH Platform) 110 Data File Format – Version 8


EFS needs to setup the carrier to be able to access their fuel files via FTP connection.  The carrier’s IT department will need to set up the FTP client on their workstation so that they can access the EFS dat files.


Once the carrier is able access their fuel in the required format, they can follow the remaining setup steps in Fleet Manager.

 

Fleet Manager Professional Setup

  1. Open Data Maintenance
  2. Click on the Misc. Vendor folder
  3. If the vendor exists highlight the vendor and click Edit, otherwise Click the Add button
  4. Fill in the vendor details
  5. Click the Credit Card Assignment tab
  6. Right click in the white space and select Add Fuel Card
  7. The fuel card number
  8. The PIN and Expiry Date are optional
  9. Assign the fuel card to either a driver or a truck
  10. Click Save
  11. Repeat steps 6-10 until all fuel cards are added.
  12. Click Save to save the vendor and fuel cards.
  13. When importing fuel use the EFS option in the File Format dropdown
